Phil has recently accepted a ministry position with Southern Hills Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas. For the previous 22 years, he ministered with the Westover Hills Church of Christ in Austin, Texas. In addition to his preaching ministry, he has been involved in Heartlight, Inc., written regular articles for a number of newspapers and radio programs as well as Restoration Quarterly, Image Magazine, and Wineskins. Until recently his wife Donna worked as a reading specialist for the Pflugerville ISD. Phil and Donna have two children: Zach, a graduate of Abilene Christian University, and Megan a freshman at ACU.
